Last year I met the Handfelt family for older brother Griffin’s senior session. Recently, it was his sister’s turn in front of my camera. Sienna is starting her senior year soon at Liberty High School.
Sienna had shared some photos that represented her vision for her senior session. From those inspiration photos, I was able to narrow down a location and I think Coal Creek Park was a perfect fit to bring Sienna’s vision to life.
If you have a specific idea for your session or a certain aesthetic you are going for, communicating that to your photographer is so important! I appreciate the thought and detail Sienna put into her session and it made for a successful session and happy clients. You should LOVE your images and your experience!Even though it was a pretty warm evening, the shady trail kept us cool. I love the look of the summer glow filtering in through the trees. Sienna’s mom recalled that it must have been the hottest day all summer for Griffin’s session. We were glad to be comfortable and cool!
Sienna is really involved with the Hi-Liners Musical Theatre in Burien on stage and behind the scenes. They had just wrapped up a production of Matilda, so we snatched up one of the first free evenings Sienna and her mom have had in quite awhile.
Sienna’s passion for theatre explains her ease in front of the camera. If you can get up on stage then my camera can’t be too scary! She’s an absolute natural in front of the lens.Sienna is still deciding on colleges and majors but psychology definitely interests her. She’s going to do running start this year, so she’ll be ahead of the game when graduation rolls around next year.I didn’t get to meet the family dog last year because of the heat, so it was a real treat to meet not one but two family dogs this year!Thank you to the Handfelt family for another great senior session!
