The weather was perfect for Hannah’s portrait session and we had hints of fall color around Point Defiance Park.
Hannah is a senior this year at Bellarmine Prep School in Tacoma. A long time volleyball player, she is taking a break to focus solely on academics. AP classes take a lot of time and Hannah has a course load full of them.
While Point Defiance has a number of different locations, the gardens are what Hannah was looking for as a backdrop for her portraits. I love flowers so I was perfectly content to spend the majority of her session there.
Flowers give such a nice pop of color and we had plenty to choose from in the Dahlia Garden.
There were a lot spent roses by this time of the year, but we found a few which made for a nice backdrop.
Hannah brought a cozy sweater for her early autumn session and this color green suited her so nicely.
The ducks put on quite a show for us in the pond, but we had to focus on getting these last few shots. We were losing light quickly!
The college application process is getting underway and Hannah has her sights set on Cal Poly to study Environmental Engineering. Thank you Hannah and your mom for such a great session! All the best for a memorable senior year and every success in college and beyond!
