I had just met Rachel and her daughter at Fort Steilacoom Park a few days earlier for Evelyn’s senior pictures and now it was time to photograph the whole family.
One of the things I like to do when shooting family portraits is to photograph the different relationships within the family. We started with Rich and Rachel and then I sweet talked Rachel’s parents to get in front of the camera.
I took Rachel’s eldest daughter’s senior portraits several years ago. How fun to see Alex again and meet her husband!
I love this photo of the three generations of women followed by the sisters.
Fort Steilacoom is often a popular spot with photographers, but we enjoyed a pretty quiet evening at the park.
I was so happy that Danielle was willing to get in front of the camera solo! A couple more years and she’ll be ready for senior portraits, too!
No portrait session at Fort Steilacoom would be complete without taking advantage of the tall grasses. Huge thank you to Rachel, Rich and family for allowing me to update your family pictures!
