We weren’t about to let those big gray clouds and sprinkles scare us away! Riley wanted an urban setting for his senior pictures and downtown Tacoma was full of fall color. I met Riley and his mom at the UW Tacoma campus and we took advantage of all the great back drops, starting with this awesome brick wall.
Riley describes himself as practical and he’s got a fairly serious demeanor, but I got a chuckle or two out of him. He can stare down the camera with the best of any guy model.
I think we did a good job incorporating a lot of the architecture around campus and capturing the urban feel.
Riley said he preferred to look off from the camera, but these shots are some of my absolute favorites!
We made our way to the glass museum and shot some of my favorite views along the way. It was nice to practically have the place to ourselves!
While a college prep education keeps him busy, Riley likes to spend his down time playing golf and the guitar. Like most seniors, he has a lot of big decisions to make about colleges and majors. I hope you have a memorable and enjoyable senior year, and wherever life takes you after graduation, I wish you all the best! Huge thanks to Riley and his mom, Karin, for trusting me that we weren’t going to get rained out. I had a great evening out in Tacoma with you both!
