Cherry Blossoms UW| Emily

The University of Washington is no doubt a beautiful campus, but it really shines when those Yoshino Cherry Trees bloom!

That’s exactly what Emily was looking for when she planned her senior session.

Even thought the spring weather couldn’t quite make up it’s mind, it didn’t stop us from having an awesome  session.  We ducked under the pretty doorways when the rain showers hit and talked about Emily’s studies and her plans for the future.

When the sun peeked out, we captured stunning images like these!

Emily has the best smile and a natural confidence in front of the camera.  She was an absolute joy to photograph!

As a member of Phi Mu, Emily wanted to incorporate one of the dedicated benches on campus into her session.

Emily came up with the idea for this shot and the Gothic architecture of the Quad buildings framed her perfectly!

I have to compliment Emily because her wardrobe, hair and makeup choices were spot on.  I call it “casual chic” and I would welcome her assistance any day as my personal shopper!  Both outfits were so flattering and captured her personality, while her hair and makeup accentuated her natural beauty.  So well done, Emily!

When you’re a Husky, you’ve got to flash a little U Dub spirit.

No portrait session at UW is complete without pictures in the iconic Suzzalo Library and at the Columns which stand in Sylvan Grove.  Tradition says you should touch the columns as a new Husky freshman year.  The tradition comes full circle as a soon to be graduating senior touches the columns once again.

We finished out Emily’s portrait session with a little bit of swag from her next home away from home.  With a bachelor degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences under her belt already, she’ll be heading to Syracuse University in the fall to pursue her graduate degree in Audiology.

Thank you again for a fantastic session!  I enjoyed meeting you and catching up with your mom.

Congratulations Emily!  Wishing you all the best!
