This beautiful young lady is Alyssa, and she is an upcoming senior at Bellarmine Prep. I had the privilege of meeting Alyssa and her mom, Dee, on a gorgeous evening. Drama is a big part of Alyssa’s extra-curricular activities, so she made arrangements for us to start at the Tacoma Little Theater. We had some ground to cover before the sun set, so we quickly made our way to Pt. Defiance Park. It is such a versatile location, and our first stop was the lake. The light was amazing!
There were plenty of flowers still blooming in the rose garden, and when I asked Alyssa which color was her favorite…she was all smiles for pink!
Alyssa knew she wanted to get some shots down at Owen’s Beach as well. This striped dress and strappy sandals popped perfectly against the rocks and driftwood.
Then we made our way across town to catch the last of the light at Ft. Steilacoom Park. Alyssa had another perfect dress. The red and blue print is so pretty against the pale grass.
Aside from being an incredibly sweet girl, Alyssa had the confidence to just move however was comfortable for her.
And she wasn’t afraid to play.
She was an all-around natural in front of the camera, and she asked her mom to join her. I told you she was a sweet girl!
Alyssa, I cannot thank you enough for trusting me with your senior portraits, but even more so, for being confident in yourself and letting your joy shine through. All the best to you for a fantastic senior year. Go Lions!
